LifeShield respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you use the LifeShield mobile application and related services.
We may collect: name, email address, phone number, profile information, real-time GPS location, background location updates, emergency contacts, SOS activation history, medical information (voluntarily provided), uploaded documents, device information, and diagnostic data.
We use collected information to provide LifeShield services, operate Family Circle features, deliver SOS alerts, facilitate location sharing, store user documents, improve safety features, maintain security, prevent abuse and fraud, provide customer support, and comply with legal obligations.
LifeShield collects location data to enable family location sharing and Safe Zone features. Location is only shared with family members you have explicitly authorized. You can disable location sharing at any time in Privacy & Security settings.
LifeShield allows users to share information with selected Family Circle members. Depending on settings, family members may view current location, location history, SOS events, emergency information, and selected personal information. LifeShield does not make location information publicly available.
Users may voluntarily provide blood type, allergies, medical conditions, medications, and emergency notes. This information is stored solely to assist the user and designated family members during emergencies. LifeShield does not verify medical information entered by users.
We do not sell personal information. We may share information with: family members authorized by the user, service providers supporting operations (Cloudinary, Expo), cloud hosting providers, payment processors, and legal authorities when required by law.
For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), we process personal data under: user consent, performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, and legitimate interests related to safety, security, and service improvement.
Your data is stored on secure servers in the European Union (Hetzner, Germany). We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit (HTTPS/TLS). We implement access controls, authentication mechanisms, and security monitoring. No system is completely secure.
You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict processing of, and receive a copy of your data. You may also object to processing and withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@lifeshield.space.
LifeShield is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
